There must always be two kinds of art: escape-art, for man needs escape as he needs food and deep sleep, and parable-art, that art which shall teach man to unlearn hatred and learn love.
W. H. Auden
Our credo is that, in a globalized world, we can only live together in peace, if we understand each other. For mutual understanding, however, we need to know what the others are talking about. In this regard we deem the role of literature and graphical art paramount and hold that their anti-ideologic and subversive potential has the power to disrupt stereotypical thinking.
Thus, this journal is meant to spread both literary texts and graphical art from all language regions to a world wide public.
Literary texts of bi- or multilingual authors (be they well-known or not so known) in both their mothers tongue(s) and in English will be published.
WE DO SUPPORT
the publication of lyrical poetry, short prose and literary essays. Also, sections of both traditional or graphical novels are welcome.
The main focus of text selection is their poetic quality and originality. The copy right remains with the author. Only texts are accepted, if they have not previously been published elsewhere.
WE DO NOT SUPPORT
Of course, we do respect the freedom of art, however, we do not support anything racist, sexist, ageist or homophobic. We also do not support political ideologies or hate speech.
